ASI Fellows is an international honorary association of accomplished individuals in the areas of “hard-science and technology” (physical and life sciences, computer science , mathematics, etc.), as opposed to those in the “soft” sciences (sociology, psychology, etc.). However, upon rare occasions, some individuals who are professionals in “soft” sciences are elected to become ASI Fellows if they contribute significantly to helping our youth, and the general public, to better understand science and technology and engage themselves in the world of science and technology. These honorees become eligible through their professional accomplishments. ASI Fellows are elected by other fellows from a pool of candidates provided by existing fellows and the invited guests.
