Dr. Carlton M. Truesdale, Ph.D. Dr. Truesdale is a research fellow who was recognized for being one of the "Top 100 Most Important Blacks in Technology" at the Black Engineer of the Year Awards Conference in 2006. Additionally, he was named the Society of Black Engineers’ Pioneer of the Year in 1998. He is widely recognized for his research in optical couplers, multimode fibers and waveguide processing. His current research activities include the nanomaterials processing for life sciences, specialty materials, and energy applications. He is on the Board of Advisors to the Jackson State University College of Science Engineering and Technology (CSET) and Howard University (CREST) Nanomaterials. He holds 22 patents and has authored numerous technical reports. In addition he has written a number of journal articles and made presentations at scientific conferences. |
