Dr. Judy Martin-Holland, Ph.D., RN She is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Assistant Dean at UCSF School of Nursing. Her research interests include health disparities, currently with a specific focus on asthma and asthma care, perceptions of health services by persons of color, patient-focused healthcare decision-making, patient-provider relationships, and access to health care for marginalized populations. Related areas of interest include: culturally sensitive nursing practice, nursing workforce issues and health care policy. Dr. Martin-Holland's administrative and teaching responsibilities include: diversity and social responsibility of the health care professions; recruitment, retention and graduation of diverse students in nursing, and courses on Leadership, Theory in Advanced Practice, Socio-Cultural Issues in Health and Illness, Pulmonary Advanced Practice Nursing. |
